There was also a professional photography/friend at the party to take pictures of the kids. She got some great ones.
On a related note, I changed the blog name to Ruby Anne and Baby Goo Goo but haven't posted anything about Goo Goo. Woops! I am currently 26 weeks and can't complain one bit. I've been off for two months which certainly helps. I sleep until I hear Ruby in the morning and take a cat nap when she naps. From a sleep perspective, I'm in for a rude awakening when school starts in two weeks. On the flip side, I'm kind of looking forward to working again. While I don't sit around all day, I do spend the majority of my time hanging out with a three year old. She's constantly on the go but still moves at a pace I can keep up with. Going to work again will mean being on my feet for six hours. That will do me some good since my body has no problem remembering how to have a baby.
Enough about me, Goo Goo is doing great as well. She's passed all her tests at the hospital and is scheduled for another check up on Monday. She didn't give me any trouble when I flew to Ohio, spent a weekend in the humidity and stayed out and on my feet until 4 AM two nights in a row. She seemed to wait a bit longer than Ruby to move but is now kicking up a storm...especially when I eat ice cream. Adam and Ruby have both felt her now. Super cool!
I'm not into belly shots and we aren't doing much to get ready for her (we have everything from Ruby and plan on having Ruby and Goo Goo share a room in a few years) but I didn't find this on the clearance rack at Carter's:
Overall, it seems like 26 weeks has flown by but November 18 seems forever away. I'm happy be pregnant and healthy but am pretty much ready to get the show on the road.
