Thank goodness I had the foresight to have her pick a princess dress before we left. The place was filled with little Rapunzels, Snow Whites, Belles, Cinderellas and Minnie Mouses (Mice?). Ruby would not have forgiven me if she didn't have a dress on as well.
To say she loved it is an understatement. She spent most of the show like this:
I'm not a Disney person at all. Grandma Jo took us to Disneyland a few years ago. It was my first time. It was nice but not amazing. I'm not really into the characters and being from Ohio, I'm used to huge roller coasters and scary rides. The rides at Disneyland are not that. A friend of mine said I would love it when I had kids and saw it through their eyes. She's right. I got choked up a few times seeing the pure joy in Ruby's eyes when she thought the real princesses were singing and dancing for her.
