I haven't read "My Toddler This Week" in a while but if it says Ruby is going through a mimicking phase, it would be right. She copies everything we do. We make a noise, she makes the noise. We gesture with our hands, she gestures with her hands. We put a toy somewhere, she puts a toy in the same place. I pat her bottom while I give her a hug, she pats my arm in return. It's all so cute.
She's clearly watched us put on shoes over and over because her new favorite thing to do is to put on adult shoes and attempt to walk around. So far flips have been her shoe of choice. Today she tried out Uncle Zach's tennis shoes.

N is obsessed with shoes too! I don't know what I am going to do if she is a shopper :) Lately her favorite thing is to pick up my flip flops and put them on my feet for me. She gets about halfway before she gives up.
