Big Girl Bed

Two nights ago I heard a noise at 2 AM immediately followed by Ruby fussing. I was surprised the noise woke Ruby up so quickly and went to check on her. By the time I got to her door, it was open and she was walking out. It turns out, Ruby WAS the noise. She climbed/fell out of her crib! Fast forward two days, several trips to the hardware store, overuse of the tool box and a Sesame Street pillowcase and we were ready to go. I wonder if Ruby was excited about the big girl bed?





So far, so good tonight. I peaked in on her several times. The first few times she was reading to her stuffed animals like she always does. When Adam got home from a work event, we checked in one more time.



P.S. I know, I know...she still sleeps with her binky. Ruby's been sleeping through the night since she was 3.5 months old thanks to the pacifier. Our pediatrician and my friend (the speech therapist at my school) both said not to worry about it until she was 3. No haters please =)

    awww... she looks so cute and peaceful. I'm sure you won't hear a peep out of her until the morning. I love the pillow!

    I'm not sure if anyone checks back or not but the pillowcase actually came from Walmart.com. Auntie happened upon it by accident and got it for Ruby's birthday. Perfect timing!
