'Cooter

We bought Ruby a 'cooter for Christmas.

It was rainy most of the weekend but she finally got a chance to try it out. It's a three wheeler so she can easily maneuver it herself. To her delight, Uncle Zach also enjoyed giving her a push. He took a break after a while and asked me to push. I tried once and she fell off. Now she tells people, "My mommy pushed me and I got a boo boo on my knee."

Ruby isn't the only one who loves her scooter. Our neighbors do as well. It's the first toy that gives her some clout with the big kids. As a matter of fact, after the holiday we were outside playing. Ruby wanted to sit on her friend's two wheeled bike. Her friend wasn't interested in sharing. I said, "That's okay Ruby. Let's go get your helmet and scooter." Scooter? He was off the bike and running toward our garage before I even finished my sentence. Now the kids come by asking if they can borrow Ruby's scooter. Have I mentioned I love my neighborhood?
