Ballet

Ruby was in a gymnastics class last summer.  As soon as it ended, she asked if she could take ballet next.  I said, "Sure.  You can take ballet next summer."  For the next 10 months, she asked when ballet would start.  I would tell her in the summer.  She was perfectly happy with that answer but was even happier when it finally did start.

As with most classes for four year olds, parents wait outside.  On the last session, we're allowed back in to watch a "show."  It happened to be on Ruby's birthday so we had lots of company.  She had a big audience.

Afterward, we stopped at a park which happened to have mud in the sandbox.  At least she's keeping it real.
