I was pregnant when they moved. It was super sad to think about having Ella without JG. Luckily, she and N planned a trip and were able to meet her when she was only two weeks old. It was our turn to visit next but Adam can't take a lot of vacation. Ella and L were getting too big, too fast and Ruby and N missed each other something fierce so I finally made a late night decision to book a girls trip. It was so late I actually booked our flight for the wrong day. After working out that kink, it was smooth sailing and we got to spend a month talking about and planning our trip. We even had a countdown. Each magnet was a sleep until we left for Texas.
You can (and probably already did) read about our amazing trip to Texas here and here since JG is a way better blogger than I am. She did such an awesome job writing about our visit. Even I cried and I was there =)
Here are some other photos that I took:
Thanks to On Demand and plastic cups, both girls were happy on the flight.

We got in really late but N made JG promise to wake her up. Ruby took care of that. One minute N is asleep and the next...surprise!
True love!
Swimming with the entire family. After swimming, we had a BBQ, ice cream and the kids watched a movie in the theater room. I know exactly why the GVZs moved back.
All four kids "playing" together.
One last jammie movie party. Ruby started eating turkey after this but will only eat slices torn up on a plate.
We're home. Traveling is hard work.
It was an awesome trip. The GVZs and their family were awesome hosts. It was awesomely hot. It didn't matter. We love them and can't wait to visit again.
Next time I wanna come!!
