It was our second year staying in California. The order of visits and visitors changed a bit but it was just as merry as last year. Grandpa Gary and Uncle Zach arrived before the holiday, Grandma Stone visited for the weekend and Grandpa O'Brien came for a long visit in January. In a nutshell, we ate a lot, played a lot and Ruby got spoiled a lot.

To Adam and Uncle Kevin's dismay, we continued our childhood tradition of opening stockings and then presents...one at a time...youngest to oldest. Even though she had the largest pile, Ruby was happy to help everyone else as well.
As I mentioned, everyone was very kind to Ruby. Thank you everyone for loving our girl as much as we do. Among other things, she got her own Camelback from Uncle Zach.
A doctors kit from Grandma O'Brien.
A Jessie hat from Grandpa Stone and Mr. Potato Head from Grandma Jo.
Ants in the Pants from Grandpa's friend Max. Like the Camelback, Jessie hat, Ant in the Pants combo shot?
An Aqua Doodle from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Donnie.
A 'cooter from Santa (AKA mom and dad).
She also got a kid camera from Auntie and Uncle Kevin. There were so many gifts Ruby asked to take a break at some point in the day. The break gave everyone enough time to take naps and get out of our pajamas in preparation for our delicious dinner made by Adam.
After stuffing ourselves full of filet mignon, mashed potatoes, ratatouille and corn casserole (thanks Max), we enjoyed Julia Child's chocolate souffle. Adam said he didn't think he cooked it long enough. I didn't hear anyone complain =)
It's a little out of order, but Ruby also got a fantastic new kitchen from Grandpa O'Brien and Grandma Jane.

Thanks for letting me obsess over it, buying it and helping me assemble it. Ruby plays with it every single day and will for years to come.
I LOVE that you power blogged.
