Polar Express and Another Jammie Movie Party

What a day! Ruby and I went to school for a Polar Express Party. It was my day off but I had to entertain a 2.5 year old in the rain anyway. How better than letting Kindergartners do it for me? We arrived during rainy day recess so the kids were in the classroom. Ruby and Liam (both in their pajamas for the party) found the math bins and then Ruby found the girls playing in the dollhouse. At one point a little girl said, "Be careful O, Ruby might be as tall as you are but she's still a baby." It's true. Ruby is as tall as one little peanut in our classroom.

After The Polar Express was over and our class went to lunch, Ruby and I visited Auntie's class. My Ruby quickly settled in with the kids and Auntie's Ruby (a student) quickly moved over to sit by her. Ruby and Ruby!

After hot chocolate and lunch, Ruby joined my kids for their dance class. I wish I had a video camera because she followed the teachers instructions and danced with the kids for 30 minutes. We definitely need to get her in dance. She loved it!

Part of our Friday crew was busy so we had a mini play date which turned into a Jammie Movie Party with the GVZs. Ruby was still in her pajamas from the school party and Norah insisted on wearing hers over. Shared brain! I took one photo for Grandma O'Brien.

Check out the play by play on The GVZ's blog. Thanks J!

It must've been a great day. Ruby is still asleep but her light is on, she's backwards with no covers or pillow and her stuffed animals and books are strewn all over the rug. Major movie party hangover!
