Giants

Adam is a sports fan.  His favorites are 1) the Raiders, 2 ) the Sharks and 3) all other sports...especially during the playoffs.  He's been watching the Giants lately.  One night he came into the bedroom to tell me he was going to buy tickets to a Giants game so he could take Ruby.  I thought about going as well since it would be R's first game.  That lasted about 27 seconds until I wised up and realized it would mean about six hours with just Ella.  One kid = practically a vacation so I told him to go for it.

The game was last weekend.  They rode the train, tailgated with Uncle Kevin's family and went inside.  Adam's summary was that Ruby took a nap on his lap for the first three innings, they watched the game and ate for the next three innings and they went on the slide, ran bases, got a certificate and visited Auntie's seats for the last three innings.  Both reported that it was a fun time.

When Ruby got home she said, "I've been to a hockey game and a baseball game.  Next I want to go to a football game."  A girl after my heart.

Funny story...Adam didn't remember until the next night but said that when the crowd chanted, Ruby would shout, "Four more years!  Four more years!  Four more years!"  Apparently she watched some of Obama's speech with Grandma while I was at Back to School Night.  Ha!
