Me (taking away the iPad Ruby was using while I put Ella to bed): Time for bed.
Ruby: You ruined my life!
Me (laughing): What did you just say?
Ruby (throwing herself on the bed): You ruined my life!
Me: I'm sorry to hear that. Since I make your life so bad, I'm going downstairs to relax.
Ruby: Good, I'll play the iPad after you leave.
Adam and I are in big trouble.
