Last weekend we had plans to visit Adam's family. He came home from work on Friday night and said there might be snow. I immediately wanted to run to Target to get the girls matching snow outfits. He convinced me that would be silly. Instead I sent our neighbors an email. Within the hour, I had snow boots and pants for Ruby.
There wasn't actually snow at their house so Ruby spent Saturday playing in Grandma Jo's back yard.
She loved it but kept asking when we were going to play in the snow. Specifically, she wanted to make a snow angel and build a snowman. Ask and you shall receive...especially when everyone is awake at 6 AM in a non baby proofed house.
Ella slept through most of the fun. When she finally woke up, I put her in tights, jeans, an 18 month to 2T snow jacket, rain boots two sizes too big and some random baby mittens. She actually liked the snow and wanted to play but couldn't really move her limbs.
Next time I'll have to ask for snow clothes in her size too. Or, run to Target =)
