11 Months

Oops! I totally forgot that Ruby turned 11 months while the blog was down. Grandma O'Brien was arriving and Adam was going to a bachelor party so we spent the day playing around the house. Now that crawling is a thing of the past, Ruby can play in our backyard which is all concrete. She loves to play in the dirt, with the plants and pick up leaves from the ground.



That night, Auntie and I decided to surprise Grandma by taking Ruby to the airport. Unfortunately, neither of us read the text message that said the flight was delayed so we had to wait about two hours at the airport. Fortunately, Ruby LOVED the hallway between the domestic and international terminals and happily played the entire time. She was fine when the flight landed, fine while we waited for the luggage and fine while we walked to the car. She was not fine close to 10 PM, in her car seat, in the dark without being able to see me. Lesson learned =)
