For the first time in 20 months, we had to leave a restaurant before we were done eating. As a matter of fact, yesterday Ruby and I had to leave before we were finished with our lunch *and* our dinner. I blame the high chairs with broken seat belts but suspect it could be our introduction to the terrible twos. Oh well. I guess it comes with the territory. We left before we ruined dinner for anyone else and had a giggle filled meal once we got home. It was late at that point so Adam and Scott took Ruby upstairs for her bath. I suggested they try out Ruby's new bubbles. I'm pretty sure she liked it (and so did Scott):
Happy 20 months sweet Ruby! 20 months ago I canceled dinner plans because you surprised us two weeks early. Today I skipped out on a trip to the Coach store so you could play with the neighborhood kids for 2.5 hours. You're worth it =)
