Ducks

After story hour on Friday mornings, Ruby and I check out the diggers in the parking lot, look for ducks in the pond, cross the bridge and walk on the big rocks. She likes the ducks but usually moves on pretty quickly because I don't let her get close to the water (there isn't a fence). On Friday, the ducks were on the sidewalk and Ruby couldn't get enough.


She was so into the ducks, we had to tell her about the balloons at Trader Joe's to get her to leave. I don't let her have latex balloons but we'd still be there if I didn't come up with something good.
