Crocs

Only my family knows this about me but I hate Crocs. Please don't be offended if you wear them. They're big, bulky and bright...they're just not my thing. Unfortunately, they appear to be Ruby's.

My friend's 20 month old daughter was wearing a little purple pair when she came over for a play date. My friend would also not be caught dead in Crocs but said they were fantastic for her kids...they are easy to get on and off and are easy to clean. She said she got them at the Crocs outlet (who knew such a thing existed) for dirt cheap. A few days later I was out shopping and saw the cutest little girl wearing a pair of teeny tiny red Crocs. She looked adorable and had no problem walking around. I asked her mother wear she got them and what do you know, she also knew about the Crocs outlet. My mom and I were out shopping later that day and were going to be near the outlet so we stopped to check out the Crocs. $9.99 later and Ruby has her first pair. This morning she saw them on the stairs and fussed until I put them on her feet. Every time I tried to take them off, she fussed until I put them back on. She even wore them with her pajamas and I have to admit, they look pretty darn cute. Who knew that I would not only check out the kids section of Craigslist for fun, eat slobbery food from a one year old's hand and tip big when we leave a huge mess around the high chair but I'd also be a Croc buying mom?
