Ruby in her Halloween pajamas this year:
She saw them in the closet the other night and has been obsessed with them ever since. She insisted (aka threw a tantrum) on wearing them for her nap today. I don't care what she wears to take a nap but they were dirty from breakfast. I finally told her she had another Halloween shirt. I had to put it on before she would get in bed and she wouldn't let me take it off the rest of the day. As a matter of fact, she picked her entire outfit before we left for the mall:
It's not a very good picture but she's wearing a long sleeve Halloween shirt (it was hot today), shorts, her new pink tennis shoes, her Niners baseball hat (with pen marks all over the brim) and some new glasses from Grandma O'Brien. It took everything I had to let her walk out of the house in an ill fitting, non matching, weather inappropriate outfit. She was happy and that's all the matters.
