Our walkathon was on Friday. It wasn't my day to work but it's a huge deal at my school - the parents plan the entire event, the kids think it's like Disneyland and it raises over $120K for our school. Grandma O'Brien, Ruby and I went to visit, spend some money and participate in the teacher half time show. I was on the Team Lion so I made Ruby an honorary member as well.
It's hard to tell in the second photo but Ruby ran through the obstacle course (twice) while at least 500 parents and students cheered from the sidelines. The second time she snatched a banana out of a basket my friend was holding...while she was dressed in a gorilla suit. Still no stranger danger for Ruby. We'll see how Santa season goes this year.
