Train

Teachers copy lessons from other teachers. Baby friends copy weekend activities from other baby friends =)

We made a last minute decision to take the Cal Train to breakfast on Sunday morning. Ruby loves the train and tells us every time she sees or hears it passing by. One day a few months back we sat on the stairs outside Barrone's watching trains go by. Oddly enough, she wasn't that excited when we told her about our plans. At one point, she even told us she wanted to go back in the house instead of getting in the car. We walked back in only to have her turn around and say, "I ready to go on da train."

She was excited to wait in the "little house" at the train station.

She repeated all the city names when the conductor announced them over the speaker and told us every time we stopped and were moving again.

After breakfast and several visits to a scary Halloween store, she was wiped out. This was her vantage point on the way home.

It was a fun morning. Ruby thinks we should take the train to San Francisco next time.
