Boston Mills

When I was a little girl, my dad was a glass blower. I have great memories playing under his display, exploring hills and streams around the show and wandering around the booths trying to convince him to buy me stuffed animals, puppets, jewelry, etc. Here's a photo from Boston Mills, a well known art show that he used to do (that's me in the baby carrier on my mom's back =)

He took up glass blowing again just before he retired and now does it full time. He loves it and has gotten back into many of the local galleries and art shows. Here's another photo from Boston Mills, the same art show which he started doing again a few years ago (that's me at the preview night after a few glasses of wine with my sister as a designated driver =)

I was going to post this anyway but today seemed appropriate - my dad got a clean bill of health after finishing radiation a few weeks ago. Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay! I'm so glad we got to spend last week together and can't wait to celebrate with him when he visits in August.

  1. great news about your dad and LOVE seeing the old family pic. Your mom was a trendsetter with the baby carrier!
