Ruby's Second Year

We had a great day yesterday! It started with cupcakes for breakfast as a family and ended with a popsicle and bubble party outside with the neighborhood kids. Life doesn't get much better for a two year old (or a 36 and 37 year old for that matter).

I took Ruby to her two year appointment today. She is 36 inches tall (95%) and weighs 29 pounds (78%). She told the nurse she had a lizard tattoo and showed him her lizard tongue, interrupted the doctor and I the entire time we were talking, said she was "all done, go home" and opened the door to leave wearing only her diaper and didn't even notice her polio vaccination. That and the fact that we don't go back to the doctor for an entire year officially makes her a big girl!

This years video is not as long as the last one but the year was just as amazing.



P.S. I don't particularly care for Uncle Kracker but I heard an interview where he said he wrote this song for his daughter. Now I get all chocked up when I hear it on the radio. I guess daughters will do that to you =)
